The past month turned out very different than I expected. I got surprising news that my family and I have to leave Sinchula for household shopping, where we've lived for many years. This sudden change means not only saying goodbye to our home but also leaving my job, which has been a big part of my everyday life.
Now, we're moving to Phuentsholing, a city I've always been curious about but never visited before. Phuentsholing is famous for its lively markets, diverse culture, and beautiful scenery. Moving here brings both excitement and uncertainty as we adjust to a new life. Even though it's hard to leave behind what we know in Sinchula, I'm looking forward to discovering everything Phuentsholing has to offer and hoping it becomes just as special to us.
As we move we the brotherhood really enjoyed a car new place and new things are seen on the roadside. In the hormone of enjoyment we reach Phuentsholing.
Dad had somehow managed to have lunch, though he was drunk. After lunch my brother Harry and I left at the hotel. That hotel didn't sound like a good idea at all, because the counterman and dad were disgusting. We didn't know what that was. Quickly dad went out.
Where are you going? Harry asks dad.
Wait, I will be back! Dad replied.
At the same time the counterman took us into room number 36 and said "your dad will be back soon"!!
And locked from outside but dad never came back.
The room was large and the king size bed dominated the room. I'd never been in that kind of room before, therefore the two of us were in the room.
At 7:00 pm is the habit of having dinner. I feel time is passing so slowly.
Harry Harry "can you bring food for me". Aiuse just wait. Let's wait for dad, might he come..Harry replied.
No I can't wait for dad, I'm so hungry.
He tried to control me. He hugged so tightly that it was an unforgettable hug in my lifetime.
We two cried for exactly half an hour. Without dinner we fall down on bed.
Aiuse Aiuse wakes up. I hear the sound from far away but it's just my brother who is waking up from near.
Just after waking up, I searched for a rest room, trying to open the door, but there was no way.
Fortunately we managed in the corner of a room to pass stool and to pee.
Breakfast went hungry.
Food!! Food!! I cried a lot to Harry. With eyes full of tears he stayed quiet. We cried a lot but no one replied.
Around 12:30 pm those who were serving at that hotel brought plates of food. Without minutes we were already finished.. I asked for extra rice.sadly, the room was already locked.
One week passed with one plate of food per day
One morning the beautiful sun shines, watching for dad.
People around were busy in their own world, some enjoying, some joking.. Fighting and all.
Harry!!Harry!! look out there what a beautiful town. Many people are roaming here and there may be our dad also roaming who knows.
You are right"!"Let's find our father" he replied.
At the same time, the sweeper opened the room for cleaning, but he couldn't stay for a long time because of the dirty scent. As he exited from our room he forgot to lock the room.
Aiuse look out there the door was opened let's run away. Harry exclaimed
No... Noo.. I am an affair of that.. I said in low voice
You stay out here I am going.
Harry ran away. As I left behind out there only
I am at a crossroad which to follow. I am lost.
After a minute the counterman came and asked a thousand questions...
Where is your brother?? Huh
What are you two going to do with me?? I was afraid a lot. I didn't respond. With frustration he went out and again locked the door.. My head felt like it was going to explore. I needed to calm down. I had to focus on something else..
I tried to stop my tears.. But it was not working.. I move around the room trying to free myself..
I have tried everything.. It seems it is not working..
It is almost dinner time. I thought there would be no dinner for me and I fell down on my bed.
As I lay on the bed, I felt a growing sense of despair. The days seemed to blend together, each one more unbearable than the last. Hunger gnawed at my stomach, and the uncertainty of our situation weighed heavily on my mind.
Days turned into weeks, and the isolation in that room became increasingly suffocating. I had no contact with the outside world, no idea of what was happening beyond those four walls. My only companion was the darkness that enveloped the room when the lights were turned off.
Despite the fear and uncertainty, I knew I had to find a way out of this nightmare. I started examining the room carefully, searching for any possible means of escape. I ran my fingers along the edges of the door, hoping to find a hidden latch or weak point in the lock. But it was futile; the door seemed impenetrable.
I tried to communicate with the other guests in nearby rooms, banging on the walls and shouting for help, but my cries went unanswered. It was as if we were trapped in a world of silence and neglect.
Each day, the hunger grew more unbearable. I became weak and lethargic, barely able to move. My thoughts constantly drifted to Harry and what might have happened to him. I prayed that he was safe, wherever he was.
One day, as I lay on the bed, I heard muffled voices from outside the door. It was the hotel staff, engaged in a heated argument. I strained to listen, hoping to glean some information about our predicament.
From what I could gather, it seemed that the hotel was involved in some illicit activities, and my dad had unwittingly become entangled in them. But what had happened to him? Where was he now?
The voices faded away, leaving me with more questions than answers. I knew I had to find a way to escape and uncover the truth about our situation. Desperation fueled my determination, and I continued to search for any weaknesses in the room's defenses.
Then, one fateful day, a glimmer of hope appeared. The door was left unlocked, just as it had been when the sweeper forgot to secure it. I knew this was my chance. Gathering every ounce of strength, I pushed the door open slowly and cautiously.
The corridor outside was eerily quiet, and I crept along the hallway, trying to remain inconspicuous. My heart raced with every step, fearing that someone might discover my escape. But I couldn't turn back now; I had to find answers and, hopefully, my brother.
As I ventured deeper into the hotel, I discovered the true nature of the place. It was a den of criminal activity, a place where secrets were hidden and lives were at risk. I was determined to uncover the truth, no matter the costs.
As soon as I came outside, fresh air came, breathing deeply in my poor heart. I felt different than I ever felt till last week. I couldn't open my eyes because of the bright light. I slightly tried to open it. Luckily it is working. But my mind was still with the counterman. Then I started running thinking that they might catch me. I ran more than half a kilometer away.
However, I was able to escape from that hotel.
